John Morton, Director

John has been involved in commercial property for 21 years and in this time has advised clients on numerous investment transactions across the UK. Recent deals include a mixed UK office portfolio in excess of £48m, industrial acquisitions in Glasgow for £6 million, and leisure acquisitions in Canterbury and Harrogate for £4 million.

On disposals, John has recently undertaken various disposals across the UK including a portfolio of distressed assets in the North of England for £10 million and an office building in Dundee for £6 million.

As well as investment acquisitions and disposals, John has become heavily involved in asset managing two significant in-house portfolios alongside Angus. Each of the portfolios comprises a range of assets including multi-let industrial estates, out of town business parks, retail units and city centre offices. Clients appreciate his in-depth knowledge of the assets and his focus and attention to detail.

John is an RICS Registered Valuer.

In his spare time John enjoys golfing, albeit it badly, skiing and going for long walks with his dog, Hamish!
